Do you love the outdoors & animals?

Join us for a weekend up at the Milo Animal Sanctuary in Mendocino

County. This sanctuary has 283 beautiful acres and there are more

than 200 animals (dogs and cats) who live there at any given time.

We started monthly workcamps in the fall of 2007 and will continue

hosting throughout 2008. This is the first weekend workcamp of the

year. It will be Feb. 2nd $ 3rd (sat/sun)

In February and March we will be creating a new fenced yard for the

senior cats and doing fence improvements in many of the dog runs.

Please be ready to roll up your sleeves and pitch in. It may rain.

You will get dirty. But it's lots of fun too. There will be time to

socialize with the animals and walk dogs too. We'll build a fire

Saturday night and relax with some nice wine.

You can camp at the sanctuary, stay in a hotel in Willits, or crash

on the floor of the staff house on the sanctuary grounds.

Please contribute $25 and all your meals (lunch and dinner on

Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday--ALL VEG) as well as all

drinks, including wine and beer on Saturday night, will be covered.

We will probably carpool, so please note if you can provide a ride or

need a ride.

We'll go from 10-6 on Saturday and 8-4 on Sunday.

The Sanctuary is about 2 1/2 hours from Marin or 3 from the city.
