Reminder: BAVeg Christmas dinner at New World Vegetarian Restaurant.

For folks wanting to celebrate a compassionately and cruelty-free

dinner on Christmas Day, come join Ira and Bay Area Vegetarians and

their friends for a delicious vegan meal with like-minded folks at

New World Vegetarian Restaurant. This is a secular event. Everyone

of all faiths and beliefs are welcome, especially those who believe

in compassion and good will to all beings.

 

Ira, our dinner host, enjoyed a great Christmas dinner there last

year and invites you to join him again this year. New World has a

great selection of vegan dishes. Last year they had a special menu,

and that's a possibility for this year -- in any case, it will be a

nice opportunity to share veg fellowship.

 

We will meet at 5 pm directly at the restaurant. Please plan to

arrive promptly. RSVP to insure seating with the group. The New

World Vegetarian Restaurant is only 4 short blocks from the 12th

Street BART Station in Downtown Oakland.

 

RSVP deadline Sunday, 12/23/2007, 5 pm. Walk-ins accomodated as

space permits.
