Guest guest
Hi Everyone: I wanted to reach out to let you know I have experienced the Marathon Matt half marathon training. It was the MOST amazing accomplishment I have ever done. About me - chained smoked everyday for 15 years (chained smoked!). YUCK. I quit cold tofu about 2 yrs ago. I am far from a runner with my lungs. I went vegan a little over a year. So, nutrition is something I am still learning and practicing. Oh yeah, I'm 38 yrs old...that is almost 40. My muscles aren't working like they used to. Why I decided to train for a half marathon - I wanted to celebrate my quitting smoking and raise some money for PETA. Marathon Matt - I wrote up something about him on YELP awhile back. So, check that out too. He is EXTREMELY MOTIVATING and not only gave me the training needed to finish a half marathon. BUT he improved my time, speed, endurance, etc. I went from doing 12 min miles to 10 min miles...(9 min if I did a 10K). i completed the half marathon and didn't stop at all. I am telling you if you are a beginner and you want someone to teach you how to do this and do it right, Marathon Matt is the guy to learn from. He taught me about running, nutrition, aches and pains, endurance, etc. He will not only get you to complete it, but he is very POSITIVE, extremely knowledgeable, and very inspirational. He is hands down the BEST trainer I have ever had. I had personal trainers before. If you have any questions about my experience, please feel free to contact me. But if you want to do something good for yourself and animals, do the VEGAN OUTREACH HALF MARATHON training. If you want to exercise with some vegan energy - CLIF SHOTS, CLIF BLOCKS, GU GELS, and VEGA brands. I did research for us VEGANs who want to feel energized. I'll be signing up again for the VEGAN OUTREACH training. I would be willing to help anyone who feels they aren't sure - but want to try. thank you Alex Bury for setting this up with Marathon Matt! Cheers, Mari Stoe
