Guest guest
this Monday at Willard Middle School Stuart/Telegraph in BErkeley 8:45-10:32 (first class) 10:32-12:18 (2nd class) 1-2:45 (3rd class) you choose which class you want to judge.. menu is all vegan, maybe one recipe will have eggs in it for details...email me with your # for OVER 7 years this school has been teaching kids how to make vegetarian foods. The principal fully supports this program. He has seen improvements such as better grades, and behavior among the kids. The kids are not only graded on their cooking skills, but how they work together and how they clean up. Necessary life skills such as using a stove (fire), handling knives safely, etc... are taught here but NOT in 99% of the schoools. and the COOOOOOOOl thing is, this place teaches healthy vegetarian food, mostly vegan... This is why people love the BAY AREA!! == here vegan info I want to pass out,, save this email *** (if you are not sure where Judahlicious is, here's where you find the answer) When you're traveling, these are the two INTERNATIONAL Veg REstaurant web sites you can do research on, http://www.vegdining.com/GetRestList.cfm?rgk=NA-US-CA-SF http://www.happycow.net/north_america/usa/california/san_francisco/index.html happy cow has a PRETTY web site! The look has improved. http://www.bayareaveg.org/ug/?city=105 & cat=0 & veg=0 LOCAL BAYAREA only The above webmasters, have spent a lot of their OWN time and $$$ to maintain these sites. They all feel it's important for us to eat well while traveling and support veggie businesses! any errors pls tell me There's constant changes in the restaurant business, if you can help them correct their web site, that would be helpful to them. and us when we need it. always CALL before going to a restaurant or you might get a surprise. == here I go again, can't stop talking about the great Hemp ice cream at Judahlicious. I had cocao with lavender MIXED with peanut butter. It was like eating a Reese's peanut bar. The peanut butter flavor overpowered the Lavender scent. Every week is a NEW flavor. Coffee might be the flavor for this weekend. I would call ahead to see what flavors are they serving or if they have any to sell....... Due supplier problems, no vanilla ice cream for a while. I recommend buying the pint size and give it as a gift to friends. price $10-$11. This might be only available during the holidays.... (not sure) so let's support this product == new product Vegan Waffles with agave or maple syrup. You can add assorted fruits like bananas, strawberries on top. Bode, is a great vegetarian guy you have to meet. He doesn't own a cell phone or a computer. So folks, help him spread the word of his great product and post to this list so I can keep my mouth shut. He has a great store, but he opened a juice store in the coldest part of SF. But hey, everybody needs their juices and vitamin C. (I am not sure how long can he lasts since that area is COLD.) *whew* it's not that I have nothing to do but talk about ice cream, but I feel it's important we know about this product. Yes, it's good, ask for a free sample. == I'll be at the friday night Brishaws (sp) RAw dinner for $20 or $25. He makes great raw dinners. If you want to details email me soon to get the $20 price. see everyone there. winnie ==sign, Sunny signature: We do what we can to save the birds from the disastrous oil spill.
