Guest guest
We have taken my parents a couple of times to Fellini's in Berkeley. They have lots of specials for vegans, but are not a vegetarianrestaurant so if your guests won't eat at a pure veg restaurant, Ithink they are a good compromise. They are mostly Italian and alsoserve a lot of good organic wines. My other recommendation is New World in Oakland. It is all veg, butbesides Asian, they have things like Jambalaya & "Chicken" Cacciatore.Their service is good and it's usually pretty quiet in there.I personally wouldn't take guests to Golden Lotus. To me theatmosphere in there is pretty frantic and service is very hit andmiss. If you want that type of food, it is much more relaxing atCentral Veg in Alameda.Just my two cents,KrisCompassion, in which all ethics must take root, can only attain its full breadth and depth if it embraces all living creatures and does not limit itself to humankind Never miss a thing.
