Guest guest
Form Moya: "Can anyone recommend a good quality vegan calcium supplement?" Hi Moya and all, Yes. Broccoli, greens leafy vegetables and all kind of beans. Even raisins contain small amount of Calcium. Vegans (not those who still leave on French fries and veggie burgers and pasta) do not need to spend their money on isolated vitamins and minerals. All these are packed by Mother Nature in plants for you with hundreds of other useful phitochemicals that at this present moment still unknown so it is not produced by the pharmacy industry. Supplements are expensive. You can buy planty of fresh, organic veggies and fruits for the same amount of money. Choosing veggies is much more enjoyable than choosing suplement and the sight of them in your kitchen is more appetizing than a suplement container made of plastic. Moreover, that way you would support the local farmers instead of the big pharmacy industry. ( Isn't it wonderful in veganism that how one good thing connected to another good thing. I love being a vegan!!!?) Enjoy your shoping. AgnesGet news, entertainment and everything you care about at Live.com. Check it out!
