Guest guest
Hi all, Forgive my ignorance, but I know nothing about urban raccoon issues. Tonight I was walking home and saw two of the biggest raccoons I've ever seen in my life in the church parking lot on Telegraph at 41st Street in Oakland. They stopped and looked at me for a bit. I was so astounded I stopped and looked at them. After a minute or so, they scuttled off behind some portopotty in the church parking lot. Is there any organization to call about raccoons for ensuring their safety, for bringing them to a better habitat than a tarred over parking lot? There aren't any parks near here, it's a very high car traffic urban area. There are a lot of yards. Any comments, tips? Educate me about this, please. Thanks.
