This is a "first" so here's my best attempt at answering them:1. "Do I need to be vegan to attend?" Nope. You don't even technically need to be vegetarian - just as long as the items you bring are vegan - and you don't walk into my home with a fur coat on (unless you want some red spray paint to go along with your cookies :)2. "This sounds like something my kids would enjoy. Can I bring them?" Nope. I love kids, and have two of my own, but this event is for adults. It's for only two hours, so I'm sure you can twist your partner's arm and get him/her to take the kids while you enjoy some hot apple cider with us.3. "How about my spouse/fiance/ partner?" Sure. As long as she is a she. This event is for "girls" only. Sorry guys. 3. "Can I bring a friend?" Yes - of course! Just RSVP so I have a head-count. Your friend will also need to bring her own cookies - and adhere to the established rules that will be sent out with the invitation. Only VEGAN cookies, please. 4. "I've never been to a cookie exchange before, what do we do?" There will be a set of "rules" provided in your invitation. RSVP and you will be sent a cool invitation, complete with instructions. 5. "Yes." Your cookies need to be homemade! I love Uncle Eddies Vegan cookies to, but I can buy them at Whole Foods. You can do it! Email me if you need some inspiration. Looking forward to seeing you . . . and your cookies of course . . . at the 1st annual vegan holiday cookie exchange!!~cay snow Messages in this topic (1) Reply (via web post) | Start a new topic Messages | Polls ......................................................... ......................................................... : BAY AREA VEGETARIANS BayAreaVeg.org : : Charter/Post Guidelines http://bayareaveg.org/charter : : Events Calendar - http://bayareaveg.org/events : : Newsletter - http://bayareaveg.org/news : : Ultimate Guide - http://bayareaveg.org/ug : : Veg Food Finder - http://bayareaveg.org/finder : : Volunteer - http://bayareaveg.org/volunteer.htm : ......................................................... .........................................................
