ARFF - ANIMAL RIGHTS FILM FEST

OF SAN FRANCISCO to Premiere

Saturday Dec 1: 11:30am - 10pm

Sunday Dec 2: noon - 7pm

Fort Mason Center, C - 260

 

ARFF - the first-ever film and video event to focus on kindness to

animals and how it can improve human health and save the

environment.

 

It's a world-class lineup of movies - award winners, nominees for

Emmys and the Pulitzer Prize - with something for everyone,

including

kids. Celebs including the Barbi Twins are expected to attend, no

doubt closely followed by the cameras of the entertainment world,

chronicaling speakers like Chris DeRose, TV actor turned founder

of " Last Chance for Animals " , whose Emmy nominated documentary will

be screened; film maker Shannon Keith, with one of the most

controversial offerings, " Behind the Mask " ; Dr. Elliot Katz, founder

and president of In Defense of Animals on that organization's two

screenings - " Going Home " and " The Dogs of Katrina " The wonderful

animated environmental movie for kids of all ages - " Fern Gully -

The

Last Rainforest " is followed by a talk by the Rainforest Action

Network. There's so much more -food, entertainment, fun!! ARFF is

emceed by Bob Linden of

GO VEGAN RADIO, heard on Air America nationally and GREEN 960-AM

locally in the SF Bay Area Sundays, 9PM

I heard the following Sunday Dec 9, An ANimals Rights Group will

have a potluck at the same location. can someone post more info?

I heard it's part of Virgina's group. I might bring an animal

lover/ but is meat eating person to the event.
