Thanks for the tip. Would you happen to know if the vegan choclates are completely cruelty free? I checked their site but couldn't find anything. Was hoping that the box of chocolates you ate from had a sign or symbol that indicated it was fair trade and human cruelty free. I'm concerned about humans being enslaved (Seems to be largely in the Global South) to produce chocolate for the USA vegan market. I would love to find a company that makes boxed chocolates that are without non-human animal ingredients and are also ethical in the sense that they don't participate in buying chocolate from plantations that don't care about the humans harvesting it. I've noticed a trend that as long as food is "Vegan", many vegan-friendly companies don't "mind" that human beings (including children being enslaved) are exploited to create vegan foods.  http://vision.ucsd.edu/~kbranson/stopchocolateslavery/index.htmlDoes anyone else think it's strange, too, that a lot of vegan candy products have sugar and chocolate and coffee that are NOT fair trade or sweat-shop free? If veganism means we're supposed to prevent suffering of animals, shouldn't that include the human animal that makes our vegan food possible? Just a thought as I try to expand on animal rights for ALL.Best,Breeze Amie Breeze HarperbreezeharperRESEARCH: www.breezeharper.com---------Anthology: http://www.sistahveganproject.comTo Subscribe  sistahvegan- ----------wow!  vegan chocolates to die forPosted by: "cay snow" caysnow   caysnowFri Nov 23, 2007 1:11 pm (PST)A family who came to our vegan Thanksgiving yesterday brought a box of vegan chocolates by Rose City Chocolatier.
