Guest guest
I am getting a program going in Palo Alto to encourage and assist local restaurants in becoming more veg-friendly. I'm looking for brief statements from local vegetarians and vegans (or restaurant-goers who often eat vegetarian) with their thoughts on the importance of having veg-options available when they eat out. These insights will both help me direct the program and will be useful to present to local restaurateurs as testimony to how much vega*n customers care about veg-friendliness. This will help restaurant owners see that there is a growing population of vega*ns they can profitably tap into by offering more and higher quality veg-options. So I would appreciate if anyone who lives in or around Palo Alto could provide a statement on what you are looking for in a restaurant to meet your needs as a vegetarian or a vegan. Do you choose whether or not to eat at a restaurant based on its veg-options? Do you have an easy or hard time finding veg-friendly restaurants? Are there any particular improvements in general would you like to see in local restaurants? Do restaurants do a good enough job labeling what's vegan? These are the sorts of questions you might address. These don't have to be lengthy (a few sentences would be fine) but feel free to go more in-depth if you like.
