Guest guest
> I know we arent typically supposed to post ads related to apartment hunting or clutter this email list with little personal quests, Hi all, Well, actually, if your "little personal quests" happen to be veg*n related, it could be quite what we want to hear! One of the best opportunities for a community list like SFBAVEG is to support each other in our veg*n lives and veg*n quests. In regards to housing -- yes, it's absolutely okay to post notices when you're seeking or have available vegetarian or vegan housing. Please note, however, that it has to be strictly an advertisement for veg*nism housing. For example, if you're veg*n but your post says you don't mind living with someone who eats fish, please don't post it here. (Or, if you do, don't be offended when we tell you that fish is not a vegetable. And, no, I do not make up these examples.) We just ask that you only post these requests once every 30 days (as sometimes the same person is always looking for a roommate, and we don't have that huge of a turnover in list membership in a few weeks) Another option is to post a notice in our message forum -- start a new post. If there is sufficient interest, we would consider opening a separate forum for housing type ads but based on what gets posted to the list, doesn't seem to be a huge demand. http://bayareaveg.org/forum As always, you can find the full posting guidelines online at http://bayareaveg.org/posts.htm Cheers, Tammy List Owner Bay Area Vegetarians P.O.
