Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I just wanted to share the details of the awesome morning I had gathering signatures for the ballot initiative at Point Isabel Dog Park. I was there for about an hour and a half, and collected roughly 100 signatures. People were very friendly, enthusiastic, and wanting to sign. It was just me, with 3 clipboards of petitions, and almost the whole time, people were signing, or waiting for someone else to finish signing for they could sign. It was totally easy- not much explanation of the ballet initiative was needed. People were relaxed, in a good mood, and did not seem to be in a hurry to get away from me. I had numerous people come up to me, ask what others were signing, and if they could sign as well. For anyone who has not went out to collect signatures yet, because they are nervous about talking to people, shy, or a first time signature gatherer, this would be a great place to start! Because of the great response I got today, I plan to go out every Sunday to Point Isabel. I would love to have some volunteers with me, because I could not keep up with the crowds by myself. If you are interested in going, please email me, and we can find a time that would work well for both of us. Emily Ziebell East Bay Animal Advocates P.O.
