Hi Everybody,

It's November Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, New Years,

etc. etc. are coming up quickly. Given that many people spend these

holidays with omnivorous family and friends, thought I'd remind people

of an old article (originally published in 1995) and 2 books that I,

and other locals vegans I know, have found helpful to us (and

sometimes akso to our non-veg family & friends) when we're relating

with one another.

Here's a link to the article Living in Harmony with Vegetarians by Alison Green

(I think) originally from The Washington Post, 8/25/95:

http://www.newveg.av.org/harmony.htm

and the books:

Living Among Meat Eaters by Carol Adams

and Vegan Freak by Bob & Jenna Torres

Happy holidays everybody. Take care. Lisa
