Dear Fellow Animal Lovers,

Hi! I am writing a book about raising healthy, happy vegan/vegetarian (the title will say " vegetarian " , but the emphasis will be on vegan) kids. I am interested in interviewing veggie-friendly and knowledgable M.D.s, D.O.s, R.D.s, Ph.D.s, MFTs and LCSWs. I live in the East Bay, but am willing/able to travel a reasonable distance (or of course the interview could be by phone).

Also once the book is further down the line, I will be interested in any recipes kids would like, as I do not like cooking (but more on this later).

Of course, any contributions to the book in the form of interviews or recipes would be appropriately credited and/or remunerated.

If you know of any health professional(s) who might be interested in participating, I would greatly appreciate his/her contact information. Also, he/she can contact me at

bekindbecause. (I hope that address was readable-it's the one I am sending this email from- this computer's a bit tricky at times). If anyone has trouble with my email could they please let me know?

Thanks very much and here's to a new generation of veggie kids!

Stephanie

Stephanie,

If you haven't already, you may want to check out

www.pcrm.org. It's a great resource for evidence-based

medicine/nutrition, though I have to say, at times I

find they tend to ignore the data that doesn't support

their cause (and I say this as someone who has been

their member for years and still support them).

You're also welcome to email me if you want (I'm a

vegetarian health-care worker and have given a formal

presentation on vegetarian diets) though I won't know

as much as the folks at PCRM.

ciao

Bobby
