vegan alternatives to butter (vegan pizza pies in SF?)

And that has got to be one of the easiest items to make vegan ... there is Earth Balance, which is a delicious & vegan margarine .. what about a vegetable oil?? Seems like businesses miss the an opportunity when they can make simple substitutions like this that widen the audience base for their products.
