Guest guest
"From previous parade experience, we learned that some marketing helps. So, Amy & Tammy wore cow & chicken costumes respectively, Ann had a Vegan message t-shirt and carted the the 120 lbs of literature. By following us, she was also able to distribute leaflets to people who changed their minds and wanted one." Just wanted to clarify! We are didn't make Ann carry the 120 lbs of literature - when I said carted, I did actually mean we used a cart. We have a heavy-duty cart with 12" wheels that can hold up to 750 lbs. Got this at Home Depot for the first year we tabled at Pride. You can use a lighter-weight cart, but need to be careful not to overload it ( I've also gone leafleting and overused light-weight carts and had them break. ) The cow costume is an adults Halloween costume (should be seeing them in stock soon) that Winnie donated to our outreach. We purchased the chicken costume off ebay. Tammy Bay Area Vegetarianswww.BayAreaVeg.org
