Last week, 17,525 copies of Vegan Outreach material were distributed across

California. Thirteen schools and one concert in eleven cities were covered by

six individuals. See the list at the end of the email for the specifics.

Vegan Outreach’s Adopt A College program recently passed a new milestone: 1.5

million booklets have been distributed as part of the program since its

inception. This is a remarkable achievement, all the more so considering the

fact that the one millionth booklet was distributed at the end of last year.

This means that 1.5 million students have had the opportunity to read about the

abuses inherent in the meat, dairy and egg industries and have been offered an

alternative to their participation in that system. Based on the feedback we

receive every day, more and more students are choosing to abstain from this

cruelty.

I am leafleting throughout Northern California. If you would like to join this

ongoing education effort, contact me and I'll let you know when I'll be in your

area. Or, if you'd like to strike out on your own, contact me and I'll give you

all the information you need to get started. I hope to hear from you; only when

we all wield our personal power and speak up against oppression will there be

meaningful change for the lives of non-human animals. Together, we can effect

great change in this world in this lifetime.

Thank you to the many people who chose to do this work during this past week.

And a special thank you to Vegan Outreach cofounders Jack Norris and Matt Ball

for their long-standing efforts which have brought us to this significant

milestone.
