Guest guest
Good to hear that PFChangs considers their vegetarian dishes 95% vegan with the sugar being the only issues. This is what I heard from the waiter in Santa Monica (the sauce/sugar being the issue). So for vegans who consider bone-filtered sugar non-vegan, we can agree that PFchang has only 1 vegan dish (steamed veggies, no sauce). But if we let the sugar issue slide, then they have lots of vegan dishes. Personally, I'd rather eat at Bok Choy or Shangri-La and possibly get contaminated with non-vegan hidden or accidental ingredients than eat at PFChangs which smells like meat and seafood. I only go to non-veg restaurants when absolutely necessary (when visiting with groups of non-veg-friendly family or stuck as a captive customer like at SFSU).
