Just as an FYI, my husband and I had moved from Chicago this year we

were unaware of which dining establishments were truly vegan. So,

when we went to Bok Choy a couple months ago, we asked before we sat

if any of their meals were vegan and which meals to stay away from.

We explained no eggs, no butter, no milk or dairy, and no animal

products.

They did say some meals contained milk. We ordered what they said was

truly vegan. I didn't know about their oil though.

I just think since they are not vegan, they simply need to understand

what it truly means. I also saw someone talk about a committee to

verify places which are truly vegan - I think that is a great idea.

Doctors are now prescribing vegan diets for some people. I have a

couple friends in Chicago who are on strict vegan diets due to health.
