Guest guest
Hi, I just saw Year of the Dog and would love to have an online discussion of it with fellow vegans/vegetarians/activists. I had some reactions, both positive and negative. I am curious what others thought. I know people have been careful on this forum not to " spoil " the movie for others by not discussing it here, but, couldn't we perhaps label our discussions somehow so that those who don't want to know too many details could avoid reading the posts? Or, if someone knows of another forum where there might already be a vegan/vegetarian/AR discussion of the film, I'd be interested in that as well. Guest guest
hi esta, and everyone, a good forum to discuss this sort of stuff is at www.veganfreaks.com. all you need to do to particpate in the forums is tell your story of how you went vegan. it's a _reeeally_ great site. one way or the other, i definitely want to talk about this movie. i noticed a lot of...conflicting...messages in it. will Esta Lewin <tahoevegan wrote: Hi,I just saw Year of the Dog and would love to have an online discussion of it with fellow vegans/vegetarians/activists. Guest guest
In addition to this discussion list, Bay Area Veg also offers an online forum. It's athttp://bayareaveg.org/forumAnyone can sign-up for a userid for any veg / AR topics. AND, that same userid is also used for restaurant reviews in the Ultimate Guide. The advantages of discussion in a forum is that it's threaded by topic, so it's easy to follow (whereas on a mailing list, all the topics are jumbled together and it can be difficult to follow if multiple discussions)And, with our forum, we have enabled an option so that you can "watch a topic" to see if anyone posts to it, or if anyone replies to your post.Check it out if you're into forums.Cheers,Tammy A dead cow or sheep lying in the pasture is recognized as carrion.
