Tell ya what ... if you want to participate in a bit of a social experiment and see if this raises any money, use goodsearch/Bay Area Veg as your search engine from now until the end of the month. And then at the end of the month we can do another check and see what the "amount raises" says. Please email me if you're willing to participate so we can have some idea of how (well) this works.

Right now it's 0.23! So if you're inclined to try this out, check it out with Bay Area Veg!Cheers,Tammy

According to their " Amount Raised " page:

" ... We estimate that each search will raise $0.01 for

your designated charity... "

Currently there's been only 1 search with this charity

(BAVeg) for this month. As more people use GoodSearch,

the pennies should add up.

I'm going to make it my homepage and see how it goes.

  • 2 weeks later...

Awhile ago Ajay posted about this search engine and how it benefited charities. I commented that Bay Area Veg has been registered for a couple of years and we hadn't received anything, so I asked if people would use it for a couple of weeks to see if it was worthwhile. A few people emailed me that they would ... Now that 2 weeks has passed, here is an update:

0.91

If you consider the first few years, when Bay Area Veg didn't earn anything, I guess this isn't so bad .. http://www.goodsearch.com Cheers,TammyA dead cow or sheep lying in the pasture is recognized as carrion.
