Hi Tammy, Breezie, and all,

I read most of Carol Adams' book a few years back, and liked it for the

most part, though I can't bring enough of it to mind right now to

elaborate more. I'm very excited that you're writing this book,

Breezie. Please let us know of any

readings/openings/reviews/interviews, etc. that you're doing (and of

course, when it's in the stores!). We need more research and analysis

like what you're doing. In the radical studies classes I attend at the

Niebyl Proctor Marxist Library in Oakland, issues of class, race,

gender (in varying orders depending on who is lecturing) dominate. I'm

probably the only vegan raw foodist amongst the regulars in the group,

and rarely get to tie in animal enslavement issues with those of human

enslavement. This might be a book that will help bridge that gap.

Looking forward to hearing more on this from you, Breezie.

Janice
