Dear Advocates for Animals: RE: SB 880, to repeal the ban of (and thus allow) kangaroo products in California It's a last ditch effort, but if you want to let the governor know that we don't want products (mostly athletic shoes) made from dead kangaroos in California, please give him a phonecall - AS SOON AS POSSIBLE - and let him know you oppose SB 880. the telephone prompts till you come to legislation; then you'll be give a choice of SB 880 or SB 353; then choose SB 880 and vote to oppose. You can also call again and choose SB 353 (which is expected to be signed by the governor), and vote to support the bill, which authorizes the court to add animals to restraint orders to protect them from possible harm from domestic abuse.)
