Guest guest
Hi everyone, Hot off the press from PETA please see the announcement below -- which many of you may already have received as well so maybe I shouldn't post this here again. But just in case a few are interested and are not on PETA's activists list: Please join PETA campaigner Matt Rice at a protest against Burberry's continued use of real fur in its designs. He will be joined by two activists who will be standing behind posters that read, "When Plaid Goes Bad," with their "naked" bodies painted plaid and spattered with fake blood. We need other activists to hold posters and pass out leaflets. If you can help with either of these tasks or have any questions, please contact Matt at 757-282-3866 or MattR. Hope to see you there! What: Burberry demonstrationWhen: Friday, August 31, 12 noon - 1 p.m.Where: Outside the Burberry located at 225 Post Street in San Francisco, CA Let's get as many people as possible out for this event. Please forward this e-mail to your friends and family members! Be sure to tell people to visit BloodyBurberry.com to learn more about this campaign. Looking for other ways to make animal rights a hot topic in your community? Join PETA's A-Team! Thanks for being on PETA's Activist Network and for everything that you do to help animals! Warm regards, Deedra Aro, Activist Liaison forwarded by Adrienne Guy (I won't be there because I work in Palo Alto.......... however, I'll be in San Jose on Sunday to speak up for the elephants and other trapped wildlife and to continue to push for end of all circuses that use animals)
