Guest guest
I have been a vegetarian for 12 years now. Nevertheless for the last 3 years I have been suffering from reactive hypoglycemia, along with allergies to most grains and nuts. Any similar stories out there? Guest guest
Hi Yes I have a similar story so you are not alone! I have been a vegetarian for 21 years and a vegan for 12 years and I can't have: anything with gluten in it (almost all grains), fruit, anything more than small quantities of soy, nothing with citric acid as an ingredient (there goes soy " cheese " ), caffiene, anything even remotely acidic or spicy (I mean we are talking must be *bland*), most nuts or anything carbonated. However, I couldn't eat an animal or a product of his/her body knowing what horrendous agony they are subjected to on factory farms, etc., so that's the easy part of a diet which does suck for medical reasons.
