Guest guest
Bay Area Vegetarians brings back monthly dinners to the East Bay, this time at Central Vegetrian Cuisine in Alameda. We invite you to bring your friends and come join us, or come join us to meet new friends every third Sunday at 6PM. Central Vegetarian Cuisine 1613 Park Street (between Lincoln and Buena Vista) Alameda, CA 94501 (510) 523-4162. See the restaurant's review on the Ultimate Guide, http://www.bayareaveg.org/ug/display.htm?id=768 and please add your own after your meal there. Let's get out the word! The restaurant offers an extensive array of Vietnamese and other Asian specialties, nearly all of which are vegan. Only one imitation meat product remains in use in one of the dishes that contains a dairy ingredient--all others have been changed over or were already a vegan product. There are 92 items not including desserts and drinks. Central Vegetarian Cuisine has friendly efficient staff, a nicely decorated and lit dining room, and an exceptionally clean restroom. We will be ordering off the menu and sharing family style, splitting the bill at the end of the meal. Expect your tab to be in the $12-16 range before tip, not including drinks/desserts. Please bring cash. To insure your spot at the group table(s), please RSVP via direct reply to veganliving@ , or by going to the event listings page at the Bay Area Vegetarians website. RSVP's + Cancellations: The restaurant sets aside tables, moves tables together, and reserves space for us based on the RSVP's received. If you have RSVP'ed and reserved a place for dinner at this gathering and will be unable to attend, your consideration of the host and the restaurant in notifying when cancelling is requested. This will retain your privilege to reserve a space at future dinners. Otherwise, if you are a no-show with no notice, we may not hold space for you for future dinners. Instead, you will be seated on a space available basis. Looking forward to meeting up with new and old friends for community, conversation, and delicious vegan food. Easy BART (Fruitvale Station and a 20 minute walk) and AC Transit bus access. Street parking on Sunday should be plentiful. Hope to see you there.
