Amazon.com sells animal fighting materials

Hi. I am not sure if this is strictly local, but we all obviously use the internet and I'm sure many of us have shopped at Amazon.com. According to the Humane Society of the U.S., Amazon is selling magazines promoting bird fighting and videos on dog fighting.

Amazon claims they have the right to do this because of their first ammendment rights. The Humane Society says this arguement is specious because Amazon is selling contraband material. I am not a lawyer and can't comment on the legal merits of Amazon's claim, but hopefully they will lose enough business (if enough people find out), that it is not economically worth it to them to sell this sickening materials.

Please take a moment to let Amazon.com know how you feel about their promotion of animal fighting. Go to Amazon.com click on Customer Service and then " contact us " . Also, please let everyone you know that amazon is doing this. Again according to the Humane Society Amazon is the only online retailer selling animal fighting material, so this could really make access to this stuff harder.

Thanks.

For the Animals,

Stephanie

Hi Kiara,

I'll respond to the group in case anyone else is also have trouble emailing amazon.com

1. Go to amazon.com home page.

2. In upper right corner, click on Help

3. Scroll down to Contact Us box (right side). Click on Customer Service.

4. If you have an amazon account you can sign in (optional even if you have account) or you can click " skip sign in "

5. Send email.

Hope this helps! Thanks for writing. Btw, someone wrote me backchannel to say that amazon also sells foie gras. What a company.

I can't find a way to send a message without an " order number " . Perhaps there is an email address?
