Please join House Rabbit Society and Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary for two

upcoming classes this month.

“HOW TO TEACH BUNNY 101 CLASSES.”

Have you been wanting to help at your local shelter but aren’t sure quite

how? Want to educate the public about rabbits but don’t feel confident doing

so on your own? Join HRS Board member Beth Woolbright as she shares with you

how to teach Bunny 101 classes at animal shelters, libraries, and public

events. This class will really help you to spread the HRS word!

Sun, August 5. 1:00PM. $10 for the public; free to HRS volunteers.

“GI STASIS IN RABBITS: IDENTIFICATION OF ONSET, TREATMENT AND RECOVERY.”

Join HRS Rabbit Center Health Director Dr. Carolynn Harvey and HRS fosterer

and director of Harvest Home Sanctuary for a unique class on

gastro-intenstinal statis in rabbits. The class will cover techniques and

medications for both home and shelter settings, and will be held in the

Rabbit Room at Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary.

monthly volunteer days, so if you haven't had a chance to visit the

sanctuary and get your hands dirty cleaning chicken pens, pig pens, or of
