Guest guest
Can you adopt 2 cats, or, can anyone take these 2 cats just temporarily (even in your bathroom or garage) while we try to find them a permanent home? The good shelters and rescue organizations all seem to be full because it's kitten season and the woman who rescued them from being abandoned is going to have to take them to the Berkeley City Shelter (NOT the humane society--they had no room) where they will likely be euthanized b/c of shelter over-crowded. These cats are 4 years old and cats older than 1 are at high risk of euthanasia during kitten season. They are going to be taken to the City Shelter tomorrow. More info: My friend is keeping (until she takes to a shelter WEDNESDAY) two sweet, beautiful brown tabby cats that were abandoned by their (not very nice) owners who moved back to New Orleans to a rental that does not allow pets. The female is small and very loving, the male a bit larger and playful--both are sweet but very scared. Both are very scared because their owners abandoned them. Can you give one or both of them a TEMPORARY OR permanenet home, or do you know anyone who can? Their photos are attached. Timna she needs to take them to a shelter tomorrow (she & her husband live in a tiny place with a dog, a baby and is pregnant with a 2nd), so please email her ASAP: timna You can also call 415-794-1135 or email me (skylupinesf) and I will try to answer your question. Please pass this message on to anyone you know.
