Hello everyone. I couldn’t stop crying when I heard

about the goats. I also wrote to the police department. Here is my note:

 

I am a former resident of Marin County

(San Anselmo). I worked in San Rafael

and traveled through there every day on my way to and from work. I now live in

Pacifica, CA,

and just heard about the 240 goats that died Saturday, July 7.

 

I am appalled at the conduct of the police who handled the

overturned truck full of goats. It is just not reasonable in any stretch of the

imagination that a solution could not have been found to save those helpless

animals. I hope that proper disciplinary action will be taken against those

responsible.
