I haven't used many; so I don't know how it would compare to a really expensive one, but for $80 or $90 that I paid at Costco, after about four or five months, I'm really happy with it. I've also used a Juiceman Junior, but when I started juicing on a regular basis, the plastic on top cracked and then got caught in the blade while I was juice and it all but shattered the entire cover -- needless to say, I can't recommend something as cheap as that ($50-$60).
