Guest guest Posted June 20, 2007 Report Share Posted June 20, 2007 Hi all,I did a radio show about food safety a few weeks ago and was disturbed to find out that most ingredients (even in organic food), including Soy Lecithin, Folic Acid, Xantham Gum, etc.., are made in China where there are no regulations. Those three ingredients are in my Back to Nature Energy cereal. Eighty percent of all wheat gluten now comes from China and for the first time, we're eating more garlic from China than we are from the U.S. So...I've been experimenting with a raw foods diet for a while now and am 85-90% there. I'd love to get together with those of you who are fairly new to the raw or part-time raw lifestyle to share ideas and tips.
