Guest guest
On Monday 6/18/07, at a music radio station close to 90.3FM (?) approximately, 3:30pm, a female radio announcer said something like. ”I want lunch, but make mine a vegan” I checked and it’s not this 90.3FM radio station in Seattle WA, http://www.kexp.org/about/contact.asp which is too far for us to get a radio signal. So, I think it’s a station close to 90.3FM Does anybody know who she is? I’m very curious. == Print vegan food coupons online $7.50 worth of ice cream coupons, one is a $2 coupon that expires end of the month http://www.purelydecadent.com/products/coupon.html http://www.grainaissance.com/wherefind.html 25 cents rice cake and rice drink coupons Winnie signature: Peace on Earth, love all Humans and Animals. sign, Sunny
Guest guest
Hello Sunny Outdoors, The radio station that you are talking about is KUSF 90.3 FM from the University of San Francisco. I used to volunteer there from 1992 to 2000. The radio station is made up of all volunteers, probably about 60 % community and 40 % student. When I was there there were a lot of vegetarians on the volunteer staff and a few vegans. I know there are still many vegetarians and vegans there. You can call the office I think the # is 386 KUSF and ask who the DJ was on the air at the time you heard that conversation about the " vegan lunch " and they should be able to tell you. By the way, KUSF had an excellent Animal Rights/Vegan weekly 30 minute talk show back in the late 90s, it ran for a few years and was hosted by a women named Jackie Dove. I am sure that KUSF would run a public service announcement for the SF Bay Area Vegetarians. Bests, Ira iratemix
