Novato dog murdered by neighbor - please sign petition for jail time

Dear Friends,

 

I have just read and signed the petition: " KEEP DOG MURDERER IN JAIL - GIVE HIM THE MAXIMUM SENTENCE "

 

You can read the full story in the Marin IJ if you like, but in a nutshell the family's Chihuahua wandered over to the neighbor's property and disappeared, it was found later thrown over a fence, dead. Novato police found evidence to arrest the homeowner:

I signed the petition. I agree, this is a horrible crime and should be

punished to the max. I feel so sad today after reading about this.

 

I also hope that people learn from this tragedy that we need to keep

track of our animals. Dogs should not be left unattended outside for

any length of time, whether outside of the house, tied outside of a

store, or wherever. You just never know what might happen - cruel

people, other animals, cars. Our animals depend on us for protection.
