Reminder! Please join us for Bay Area Vegetarians' To-Go Vegan Dinner

in Mountain View, held on Wednesday, June 27th for this month.

What the heck is a " To-Go Vegan Dinner " ? We discussed this at the

inaugural Garden Fresh dinner and decided that since Garden Fresh has

limited space, it would be good for attendees to call ahead with a

take out order, pick it up and then bring it on over to the host's

nearby house either to share or for yourself. (RSVP with a MAYBE or a

YES for the address. Future gatherings may be held at other homes...)

The second reason is that at a to-go pot luck you will have a better

opportunity to relax and mingle with more folks.

Our gatherings are friendly and open to people of all ages and

persuasions. Call ahead to order a 100% vegan dish from Garden Fresh -

a small 100% vegan Chinese restaurant with some other regional foods.

They have wonderful spiced-just-right curries. The new owner has

redecorated and added vegan MaggieMudd ice cream in chocolate and

coconut, as well as Peanut Butter Palooka.

Garden Fresh is located 1245 W El Camino Real at Shoreline (from the

East) or Miramonte (from the West). It's in a small outdoor strip

mall, next to Baskin Robbins.

For more info on Garden Fresh and to read the great reviews in the

Ultimate Guide, go to: http://www.bayareaveg.org/ug/display.htm?id=113

or Garden Fresh's website: http://gardenfresh.us/

You can also select a restaurant of your choice (only caveat is dish

must be 100% vegan); you're encouraged to support our local vegetarian

and vegan restaurants. If you need a list, please visit the Ultimate

Guide: http://www.bayareaveg.org/ug/

Collin's house, where this month's To-Go Vegan Dinner will be held, is

located 1 mile from Garden Fresh. Please RSVP with a MAYBE or a YES by

2:00PM the day of the dinner for the address by replying to this email

or at the Bay Area Vegetarians' events calendar:

http://www.bayareaveg.org/events.htm?EID=1640#1640

The dinner is open to both veg*ns and non-veg*ns, but please note,

that only VEGAN food can be ordered and brought to the dinner.

Looking forward to seeing you at first To-Go Vegan Dinner!

To go or not to go, that is the question...
