" It rescues and offers for adoption dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, birds, and reptiles. ACC is a good place to find a lost pet or your next best friend. Last year's 17th anniversary party, dubbed the " Green for the Green " Party, raised funds for artificial grass for the dog park, so this year's celebration will give the public an opportunity to see the fruits of their donations and enjoy the beautiful new turf, just as ACC's dogs and rabbits have since its installation. REFRESHMENTS Flacos (flacos.com) will cater its unique vegan Mexican food. The celebration will also feature desserts, wine, soft drinks, bottled water and juices, all included in the price of admission. AUCTION Currently confirmed silent auction prizes include opera tickets, airline tickets, museum-quality photos, a resort stay, a Pilates session, a decorative floor-standing screen, a dog training session, several large ceramic pottery pieces, a naturalist tour of Golden Gate Park, several restaurant gift certificates, and premium wines. These and many more prizes will be available to the highest bidders on July 15. ENTERTAINMENT Jazz great Walter Earl will perform on his electronic keyboard.
