Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Do you want to help rabbits through advocacy and activism, such as working on important issues like rabbit sales at pet stores, rabbit meat in restaurants and rabbit fur? This message is long overdue, but I wanted to let you know about the SaveABunny advocacy team that is now forming to address these issues and more in the Bay area. Our volunteer Suzanne, who's day job is at Marin Humane Society, has generously offered to help coordinate this team (on her own time).. We are very fortunate to have many people from a variety of backgrounds, from legal to creative to to no experience at all who just want to help. You do not need to be "radical" to help---just concerned and compassionate. If you would like to be a part of this new team---and are able and willing to put time and energy into research or taking action, please contact me at this email and I will forward your responses to Suzanne who will set up our inaugural meeting. We are hoping to assist locally with more established advocacy groups , such as HSUS, East Bay Animal Advocates, Animal Place and others. Thanks again everyone for your support!
