Greetings, all -

 

FRIENDLY REMINDER - We have a legislative meeting this coming Monday,

May 21, to discuss current animal legislation. It'll be in room 113 of

the State Capitol, 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. ALL WELCOME! Hope to see

you there.

 

Reportedly, Strickland's charreada/rodeo bill (AB1614) will come up on

the Assembly floor in the early afternoon, so if you could lobby on its

behalf, that would be helpful. We're still hoping that Assemblymembers

Coto, Levine and Leno (co-authors all) will speak up on the floor in

support of the bill. If you're a constituent of any of these three,

please urge them to do so.
