Every few years theres a case like this. They are typically whacko parents, new agey and graviate to the vegan diet among other things. Its always dissapointing that the press labels the titles Vegan this and that, because that's incorrect,...in this instance, apple juice and soy is not a vegan diet or any other diet. The story at least made an attempt to clear: “No matter how many times they want to say, ‘We’re vegans, we’re vegetarians,’ that’s not the issue in this case,” said prosecutor Chuck Boring. “The child died because he was not fed. Period.” Among others and I, we always reflect on how misguided these stories are. Dozens, maybe hundreds of babies die from major neglect and we never see articles on them... All diets need to be balanced and planned, and when one does that using a vegan diet, it still ranks at the top for health both in energy and well-being,

but also in disease reduction, leaving the lightest footprint on the planet, and may I say, damn good karma!
