Guest guest
Lunardi's Cruelty Ad Appears in " Best of the East Bay 2007 " Today In the May 2nd edition of " The East Bay Express " , East Bay Animal Advocates (EBAA) exposed Lunardi's continued support of caged egg layer production (see page 103 to view the advertisement). In honor of May's National Egg Month, EBAA is calling on members of the public to contact Lunardi's Supermarket at (650) 588-7507 to urge the company to stop selling eggs from caged birds. The company sells eggs from producers like San Jose-based Olivera Foods (www.NoMoreOlivera.com). Moreover, Lunardi's is the lead competitor of Andronico's Market, which stopped selling battery cage eggs in 2006.
