KFC protest update and plea for volunteers

Thanks to everyone who helped with the protest on 4/15 - we had an

unusually great turnout with 10+ people, taking over the intersection

and drawing nonstop supportive honks and waves from passing traffic.

KFC management was dumbfounded, especially after learning that we are

not paid, we volunteer purely out of passion.

 

I urge everyone who has not yet participated to consider doing so.

Being veg*n helps animals tremendously, but participating in campaigns

such as this can help billions of animals forever. And with increasing

public concerns over factory farming and the recent improvements made

by Burger King, we have a better chance than ever of winning this

campaign.

Helping out is very easy and fun, all you have to do is hold a sign if

you're not comfortable with flyering or talking to people. And it's

extremely gratifying, knowing you have reached thousands of people and

helped countless animals.
