Parking Solution for the Richmond District in SF:

Since there are 2 vegan and 2 - 99% vegan restaurants within a mile

from each other. I just want to give you tips on where to park:

1. 75cent per hour meter parking on the 2nd floor of Ross at 16th

and Geary Blvd. You might want to know some of SF's top Japanese

restaurant and French Restaurants are also in the area. Their

popularity is also due to available parking places.

2. Layonna has 2 white zones in front of the restaurants, if you

can't find any parking places, you can tell them your car is in

front. Mimmie the hostess told me that it's ok.

If you are the Lady who came an hour late for a SFVS Chinese New

Years dinner, I doubt if you can get those spaces. (You commented

that we didn't wait for you, sorry, most folks are too hungry to

wait and our food was getting cold.)

3. Paid parking on Clement and ~23rd AVe, near Four Star Theatre.

on the Expensive side.

4. 40 free parking with 24 hour security at 15th Ave and Lake,

which is part of the Presideo. The security guard is parked in the

parking lot guarding the hospital and can also over look the parking

lot. You can actually see them sitting inside their cars. (they

should spend $ on security dogs which is cheaper than 24 hours

security, but that's my opinion, (it's going to be tough making the

Presideo profitable)....) Yes, I asked them, security guards are

there 24 hours a day.

I never see broken glass, in the parking lot, so I assume it will be

safe. The l/2 to 3/4 mile walk is better than circling for 30

minutes for a parking space. The nice walk will take only 10

minutes. It is also a safe neighborhood to walk at night.

5. If you take me (Sunny/Winnie) out to dinner, my friend said you

can park at his private driveway. (*Smile*)

Finally, the best way to get to a restaurant, if it's possible:

is to walk or take 38 Geary which comes every 15 to 20 minutes at

night, (the #2 bus doesn't run as often and stops running at 8pm)

or bike to the event.

Have fun eating out and supporting 100% veggie restaurants.
