Cha Ya is one of the Bay Area's shining examples of vegan culinary delights. It is exclusively Japanese foods. Local flora include sushi (which can be ordered a la carte, including tempura sushi with avocado, yumm!!), several types of salads (the Mission Commanders recommend the seaweed salad and the Senroppon Salad), and delicately seasoned entrees which include soups, rice dishes, and vegetable entrees. There is no faux fauna that have been observed on earlier reconnaisance missions. Other known factoids about this restaurant include: in the BEST OF VEG 2006 survey, won for overall Best Asian food as well as Best New Restaurant for its SF location Ultimate Guide information can be found at:http://www.bayareaveg.org/ug/display.htm?id=643 You are *welcome* to invite family and friends to join us, even non-veg ones :-) Mission Schedule:http://www.veganauts.com So if you're looking for good food, company, and conversation, join us for this dinner, or check out any of the other Bay Area Veg events.
