Volunteers for BAVeg Vegan Baking Class

Hi Everyone,

I teach the BAVeg Vegan Baking Class. I strongly believe vegan baking is a

powerful form

of outreach and by supporting this class you will have an impact on the lives of

animals

and the lives of people. I plan to hold all classes this year at Sur La Table in

San Francisco.

I plan to conduct approx. 6 -7 classes this Year. I am looking for volunteers to

help

support this class.

3 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

(1) I need a second back-up assistant to assist me while teaching the class at

Sur La Table.

You will fill in for my current assistant when she is not available. The time

commitment

would be 3 hours on Saturday or Sunday from 12pm - 3pm. Classes will be held

approx. 6

-7 times per Year. As much advanced notice will be provided as possible as to

when you

may be needed.

 

(2) I need an assistant to help me prepare samples for the baking class at my

home in Mill

Valley the evening before the class. This will be an exciting opportunity for a

volunteer

because you will receive personal instruction and hands on experience from me on

how to

prepare my wonderful vegan desserts. Again a volunteer would need to be

available 6 – 7

times per Year. Assistance would be needed on Friday or Saturday evenings for

approx. 3

hours. The volunteer agreeing to this would learn how to prepare approx. 18 -21

original

vegan desserts.

(3) ****I need a second back-up assistant to come to my home to prepare samples,

to fill

in for the regular assistant who may not be available due to illness or time

constraints. As

much advanced notice will be provided as possible as to when you may be needed.
