Guest guest
Hi folks I was at Medicine Eat Station for lunch this week and I noticed they are offering gift certificates. What caught my eye was that purchasing a $200 gift certificate garnered an extra $50. So, if you're a big fan of Medicine, you could buy it for yourself and consider that you're getting a discount on meals purchased with the gift certificate. They also offered smaller denominations, too. For lunch, they offer an "over the counter" service, and the prices are pretty reasonable. I think the most expensive item is $8-9 and it includes a variety of options I had a seasoned tofu over rice and it was quite delicious. It's been so cold lately that it was a brisk walk to get there from where I work (South of Market). Depending on my schedule, I may try to organize a weekday lunch there next year ... if you're interested, please email me so I can get your input before selecting a date. Cheers, Tammy __ "This is my protest against the conduct of the world. To be a vegetarian is to disagree--to disagree with the course of things today. Starvation, world hunger, cruelty, waste, wars--we must make a statement against these things. Vegetarianism is my statement and I think it's a strong one." -- Isaac Bashevis Singer
