Guest guest
there's 4 veg restaurant l/2 block to 7 blocks for each other in the Richmond District if you're in the area to during lunch time for: 1. HEATHLY and order their sushi and avocado shake. The avocado shake sounds funny but it's good. Gotta try it at at least once. 2. Bok Choy's new owner is ~giving away~ $6.50 vegan lunch specials including brown rice, soup and egg roll, everything is vegan in the restaurant 3. Layonna has dim sum, everything is vegan they said, not confirmed 4. Golden Era2 has great vegan flan. It's the best I've had. They still have to work out some kinks, some veg folks that had 3 bad experiences there will never go back. details of the restuarants http://www.bayareaveg.org/ug/index.htm?city=105 & cat=0 & veg=0 Check out the above restaurants before one of them closes... there's way too many veg restaurants for the veg community to support. If you don't like fake meat, tell them to sub it with veggies instead. The above places serve a lot of fake meat. LUCKY grocery store that sold a lot of Layoona's fake meat, went out of business last month. 80% of their products were vegan. They were on Broadway/Stockton St in SF. == 12/12/06, Chronicle, page A4 has a photo of a Peta protest. I can't find the photo online. sign, winnie
