Guest guest
Hi folks Thanksgiving is personally my favorite holiday - I love all the vegan foods :-) Bay Area Vegetarians traditionally celebrates it throughout the Bay Area with gracious volunteer hosts organizing Thanksgiving dinners (vegan food party style) throughout the Bay Area. While the food is important, the veggie fellowship is even better. A big thank you to Jordan, Kim and Jamie, Paula, and George who have graciously volunteered to host an event on Thanksgiving Day for our community in Oakland, San Francisco, and San Jose. Three of the events are Vegan Food Parties, where each individual brings a yummy vegan dish to share, while the Community Thanksgiving Dinner in Oakland is at New World Vegetarian Restaurant. So, whether you enjoy cooking or just want the convenience of dining out, check out event links below for more information! 11/23 Thanksgiving VFP - Celebrate Turkey Liberation Day - Oakland 11/23 Vegan Thanksgiving Celebration - SF - Castro 11/23 Turkey Liberation Celebration - San Jose 11/23 Community Thanksgiving Dinner (restaurant) - Oakland These events are open to both members and non-members, and anyone who wants to share the day eating vegan foods. Cheers, Tammy __ "This is my protest against the conduct of the world. To be a vegetarian is to disagree--to disagree with the course of things today. Starvation, world hunger, cruelty, waste, wars--we must make a statement against these things. Vegetarianism is my statement and I think it's a strong one." -- Isaac Bashevis Singer
