Guest guest
The day after Thanksgiving is touted as the biggest shopping day of the year, but animal advocates know it as " Fur-Free Friday, " a day to remind consumers to leave all fur and fur-trimmed products off their holiday shopping lists. This year, you can help urge people to steer clear of Burberry stores until the design house promises to stop using fur (see BloodyBurberry.com for more information). What better way to burn off that extra piece of pumpkin pie than to join local activists in educating shoppers about the cruelty of fur and asking them to shop compassionately? Mark your calendar-and urge friends and family members to join the Fur-Free Friday festivities! What: Fur-Free Friday demonstration When: November 24, 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon Where: Burberry, located at 333 Santana Row, San Jose. Please feel free to cross-post this e-mail to others who may be interested in participating. Posters and leaflets will be provided, so just bring yourself and anyone you can recruit to join you! And visit FurIsDead.com for more information to inspire you to reform a fur-wearer-or two or three-this holiday season. Thanks! Alex
