Guest guest
Bulo Shoes in SF's Hayes Valley have recently started carrying Charmoné shoes for women. Charmoné are 100% vegan, with an " animal free " stamp on the sole, and are completely free of polluting materials, like PVC and toxic glues. The shoes are made in Italy rather than by sweatshop workers, and the company donates 5% of their profits to humanitarian, environmental, and pro-animal charities. The cost is about on par with what you'd expect to pay for a nice pair of women's shoes. For more info and store location: http://www.buloshoes.com/ http://www.charmoneshoes.com/ It's interesting to see that vegan and sustainable products are no longer a niche market, sold exclusively through stores that cater to college students and hipsters. Now we're seeing more of a range of choice in the mainstream market. If this new breed of green products are superior to their conventional counterparts in every way, it's only a matter of time until pollution and animal torture are completely eliminated from fashion. The future is on its way! (Note: I am not affiliated with either of these businesses in any way.)
